As the Secretary of CAAD( Centre for Assistance and All round Development),Mr. Sarat Kuamr Rout is very much delighted to share his views on the activities the organization does for the upliftment of the marginalized communities across the state of Odisha. CAAD as an institution is known by its core values and ethics, not only it inculcates the values in its team but also everyone who comes in contact with this institution. It establishes own regulating identify – which means it stands for the people in need. The COVID-19 pandemic response work of the institution has been admired by the tribal communities in the past years. Its COVID work presentation is a manifestation, demonstration and a symbol of the institution’s normative stand. Despite lockdown and shutdown, the quick response to the COVID through mobilizing resource and pushing & influencing government and Corporates to respond with that feedback is highly appreciated. Mr. Sarat has more than 25 years of experience in development profession. He holds a Master degree(MSW) in Social work. He has been working in the development sector for the upliftment of the poor and downtrodden through various CSR activities.
